About the Photographer Barbara Bain has been passionate about the art of photography for more than 25 years. Fully accomplished in both film and digital formats, Barbara has continually applied her eye for the best picture to those aspects of her life that provide meaning. Based in Vancouver Canada, Barbara has worked to capture the natural beauty of the local landscape, and has extended this to her passion for travel. In her previous career as a Chef, Barbara was able to marry her knowledge of a working kitchen with her photographic skills, to beautifully showcase the culinary work of some of the best restaurants that Vancouver has to offer. In 2008, Barbara had the opportunity to be the official photographer for Canada's Culinary Olympic Team. As a new Mother to two year old Brodie, and with another new family member on the way in August 2009 - Barbara has developed her most rewarding ability - capturing the emotion and warmth that comes from a young family.
